Mateen is an experienced veteran in the Silicon Valley Ecosystem with over 20 years of entrepreneurial and professional experience advising scalable businesses. As an evangelist of entrepreneurship, he advises, mentors and speaks on entrepreneurship, innovation, connectivity and networking platforms.

Mateen is the founder and CEO of Bizhance, a firm focused on helping scalable businesses with growth strategy, cross border partnerships and policies. It also works with entrepreneurial organizations, universities and government agencies to connect, leverage and build entrepreneurial vibrant hubs. Mateen is also the Managing Partner of Ann Arbor Group, an international business advisory firm focused on leveraging the economic opportunities of local regions to help build partnerships with global businesses. 

Mateen has served in Leadership roles in Global Entrepreneurship Program hosted by the Hoover Institute, Stanford University & the US State Department; and at the IIT Alumni Global Leadership Conferences in the US. He is the Global Strategy Advisor of TECCI – Business Chambers of the Indian State of Telangana, and serves as the Chairman of the Committee on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 

Mateen actively engages with TiE, an organization renowned for fostering entrepreneurship globally. For over 15 years he has been associated with TiEcon - one of the largest entrepreneurial conferences, in leadership roles, and has been the chair of its many programs, including TiE 50 Awards, Visionary Circle, Startup Bootcamp, Media, Entertainment and Ops. He is the Global Connectivity Chair of TiE Detroit, and was the founding chair of TiE 20 Startup Awards. 

Mateen's zeal and passion to learn from accomplished entrepreneurial journeys reflects in his contribution to entrepreneurial research work for renowned institutions like World Economic Forum, Stanford University, UC Berkeley. As part of his continuum learning, he has interviewed more than 700 prominent World Leaders, Policy Makers, Academicians, Entrepreneurs, Global CXOs and VCs.
